Installation Process

The installation of a high-performing air conditioning system requires careful planning and expert execution. Here’s what you need to consider before installation:

1. Measuring and Sizing the System

  • Room Measurement: It’s essential to measure the room accurately to ensure that the air conditioning system is the right size for the space. Incorrectly sized systems may not perform efficiently, leading to higher energy consumption
  • Consult with Experts: We’ll help you choose the best system for your property based on your specific cooling and heating needs.

2. Preparing for Installation

  • Power Supply: You must have a suitable power supply installed by a qualified electrician, terminating at a weatherproof rotary isolator within 1 meter of the outdoor unit’s location. A proper power supply is crucial for both safety and the system’s longevity.
  • Unit Location: Determine the optimal placement for both indoor and outdoor units. The outdoor unit must have sufficient space for air circulation and be accessible for future maintenance.

3. Site Accessibility

  • Ground or First-Floor Installations: We require a minimum ground clearance of 1.5 meters to ensure safe setup, especially for first-floor installations. It’s essential to make sure there’s enough space for our engineers to set up ladders and work safely.
  • Access for Delivery and Installation: Ensure that delivery access is clear and that there’s a designated space to store the equipment if it arrives before installation day.

Warranty Information

We offer robust warranties backed by both Allstar Air Conditioning and the manufacturers. Here’s what you need to know:

Standard Warranty:

  • Your system is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of installation.

Extended Warranty:

  • You can extend the warranty for up to 5-10 years, depending on the manufacturer, provided the system is serviced annually.
  • If the system is maintained by Allstar Air Conditioning, a 7-year warranty on parts and a 3-year warranty on labor will apply. Without regular servicing, the standard 1-year warranty will remain.

Warranty Terms and Conditions:

  • Warranties are valid only if the HVAC system is purchased, installed, commissioned, and maintained by Allstar Air Conditioning in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Any service or repair by a third party will void the warranty.

Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, relocation of equipment, and unauthorized modifications are not covered under the warranty.

Quick Checklist for a Smooth Installation

Before installation, make sure you’ve considered the following:

  • Power Supply: A qualified electrician must ensure a proper electrical connection is ready for the unit.
  • Unit Placement: Confirm where both the indoor and outdoor units will be placed and ensure enough space for proper air circulation.
  • Drainage: Systems generate condensation, so it’s important to plan for adequate drainage. For indoor units on internal walls, a condensate pump may be required.

Access: Ensure there is enough space for our engineers to work safely, especially if the installation is on a higher floor.
